1. What Raddym is

Raddym is an informational research tool. It compares the profile you enter against admissions, cost and program figures that universities publish, and produces a suggested list of schools to research further. It is a starting point for your own research, not a professional service.

2. Recommendations are not predictions or guarantees

Nothing on Raddym is a guarantee, prediction, or promise of admission, of financial aid, or of any particular cost.

Labels such as “Safe”, “Target” and “Reach”, and any percentage shown, are estimates produced by a statistical model from published figures. They are not decisions, offers, or statements about your individual application.

Admission decisions are made solely by each university, using information Raddym does not have — essays, recommendations, interviews, portfolios, demonstrated interest, institutional priorities, and the strength of the applicant pool in a given year. Two applicants with identical grades and test scores routinely receive different decisions. You may be admitted to a school Raddym calls a Reach, and denied by one it calls a Safe.

3. Data may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong

Raddym relies on figures published by universities and by federal sources such as IPEDS and the Common Data Set. Those figures describe a past admissions cycle and can change without notice. Universities also change requirements, deadlines, tuition, aid policies and program offerings at their own discretion.

Where a university does not officially publish a figure, Raddym leaves it out of the match rather than estimating it. This means some schools are scored on less information than others.

Always verify deadlines, costs, admission requirements and program availability on the university's own official website before you rely on them. Where Raddym and a university's official materials disagree, the university is correct.

4. Not professional advice

Raddym does not provide educational counselling, legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, and using it does not create an advisor–client relationship. Decisions about where to apply, how much to borrow, or how to finance an education are yours. For advice about your own circumstances, consult a qualified professional such as a school counsellor or a licensed financial adviser.

5. No liability

Raddym is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raddym and the people who operate it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, application fees spent on schools that did not admit you, missed deadlines, admission or scholarship decisions that did not go your way, costs that differed from what was shown, and any decision you made in reliance on the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply only to the extent the law permits.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, to use Raddym for personal and non-commercial purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt or scrape the service. Inaccurate information produces inaccurate matches.

7. Not affiliated with any university

Raddym is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university named on this site. University names, logos and photographs remain the property of their owners and are used for identification only. Photograph credits and licences are listed on the photo credits page.
